Jason is a fire engineering group leader providing technical advice to the design team and consultation with regulatory authorities. He is an in-house specialist for healthcare and aged care projects, having worked on some of the most complicated designs the Melbourne office has delivered such as Epworth, St John of God, and Japara.
Working on some of the tallest residential buildings in Melbourne, Jason has also delivered boutique high-rise hotel and commercial developments, notably improving the fire safety strategy at Melbourne Town Hall. Since the Lacrosse fire in 2014, Jason has versed himself in the expectations of clients, fire authorities, and design teams when it comes to the use of combustible cladding on existing buildings. He is dedicated to implementing fire safety strategies that achieve the best outcomes for both the client and the industry.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys keeping active by playing competitive tennis or enjoying a round of golf with mates. He is also a keen NBA fan, hoping the LA Clippers will win their first championship sooner rather than later.
